Since 1994, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation has presented its annual Human Rights Award to organizations and individuals from around the globe who have taken an active and remarkable stand for human rights. The award is funded by the Feist Endowment, a legacy of Karl and Ida Feist, Hamburg.
